Safety Concerns: Several gate barrier arms have been broken recently.
Please do not tail-gate through the gates, and also be aware of individuals at the call boxes
who may have gained entrance at the same time a clicker was used.

Speeding and running stop signs is on the rise in our community.
Please slow down and obey stop signs to keep us all safe.

When entering the gates with your clicker,
please be aware of visitors situated at the gate entry call boxes.
There have been some close calls with the visitor pulling away from the call box to enter while a property owner is turning in from the highway at the same time. This could cause a fender bender incident.

Problems also occur when the property owner has pushed the entry access button on their phone to open the gate arm for their visitor to enter. If another property owner then enters before that visitor does, the gate arm comes back down and will not allow the visitor to enter.
The visitor has to go back to the call box and start the process all over.

It would be a good idea if property owners ask their visitor if anyone is in front of them at the gate or approaching the gate before pressing the access button on their phone to insure a smoother entry for their guest.

Please give visitors an opportunity to enter first before you when possible. Thank you!

The price of a clicker is $35.
If your clicker stops working or works only sporadically,
you can go to Batteries+Bulbs in the Ingles Shopping Center
on Hendersonville Road across from Earth Fare.
They will check the battery for you and replace it if necessary.
There is no charge for the service only the battery...much cheaper than a new clicker.

Gate codes work with long distance numbers, so if you want to change your
gate contact phone number, please contact the office.

On April 12, 2016 a presentation was made to the Board and the community
to help explain Easements, Rights of Way, Drainage and Utility Easements,
and Drainage Maintenance Responsibilities.

Click here to see a PDF of the presentation.

Newly Revised Architectural Guidelines and Appendices and HVHOA Policies

have been posted to the Documents Page for your review.

Your Responsibility

The drainage ditches lie in easements recorded on our individual lots. High Vista HOA Covenant #18
prohibits placing materials in these easements, and also requires that the easement areas
be maintained by the lot owner. Accordingly, lot owners are expected to collect and dispose of leaves
and other yard debris from their private property at their expense.
The HOA does not provide this service.

Please do not blow, rake, or otherwise deposit leaves from your property onto the roads or into the ditches.
